Principal:    Robert K Taylor BA, BSc Hons(Arch), Cert Ed., MSc (Conservation)

Services offered: full architectural design and project management for small to medium sized projects (up to £1m);  complete service from initial requirements to hand-over of finished building, or partial service only if required. Principal has a MSc degree in Conservation of Historic Buildings (Bath University, 2003).

Sectors: housing, individual houses, education, leisure & cultural facilities;  new buildings, alterations and extensions;  restoration, conversion and alteration of Listed Buildings and buildings in Conservation Areas, traditional and modern buildings.

In-house specialist areas: feasibility studies including ENERGY USE EVALUATIONS & OPTIMISATION of building performance at design stage using state-of-the-art Building Information Modelling software (ArchiCAD with Ecodesigner).

Presentation & communication: as part of normal architectural services, 3D computer models of building projects are provided in order to accurately communicate design concepts and details;  information can be exchanged by hard copy or electronically to suit client needs.

Practice philosophy: to provide a personal service with a genuine concern for client satisfaction;  to achieve a cost effective built solution by employing a high level of design and technical skill plus attention to detail.
